Position Description

The Department of Communication Disorders seeks a full-time, nine-month Clinical Supervisor (Clinical Lecturer) to provide clinical supervision for graduate students completing clinical practicum hours in the Texas State University Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. The selected candidate will be expected to perform duties at the Round Rock Campus as well as on the main campus in San Marcos. The position will eventually be full time at the Round Rock Campus. Responsibilities include clinical supervision, academic advising, providing service at the department and university levels, and possible teaching of undergraduate classes. Salary will be commensurate with experience

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have a master’s degree in communication disorders.
Candidates must have State of Texas licensure in speech-language pathology and ASHA certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with clinical supervision of Clinical Fellows or graduate student externs.
Experience with preschool, school-age populations or neurogenic populations.
Experience teaching or guest lecturing.
