Position Description | Position teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in theatre history in large theatre program offering bachelor’s degrees as well as M.F.A. degrees in directing, dramatic writing, and design. Teaching responsibilities includes a two-semester undergraduate theatre history sequence, and graduate theatre history courses including: backgrounds of modern drama; studies in dramatic theory and criticism; contemporary world theatre and drama; and classical and renaissance drama. |
Required Qualifications | Required qualifications for rank of Assistant Professor: Required qualifications for rank of Associate Professor: To be eligible for hire at the associate professor rank, candidate must meet the requirements for that rank as established by the department. The successful applicant will receive the appropriate rank and title based on university and department established standards. |
Preferred Qualifications | • Two or more years of successful university-level teaching in the area of theatre history; |
